A Piece of ART! Our Contemporary Portraits are a great way to express yourself. People often see beautiful art pieces at museums or over the fireplace of a gorgeous mansion and think, “I would love to have a portrait like that of my family or me.” Here is your chance to have a family portrait that you are proud to hang on your walls for everyone to see. Whether it’s a glamour shot of yourself or that beautiful artistic family portrait, we will make sure you LOVE your portraits. We will help you with every step to make sure you get the best portraits you have ever had.
What you can expect
Consultation
It all starts with a consultation. Once you contact us, we will book an in-person or phone consultation. We will find out more about your family, your needs and your wants and fill you in on everything you need to know for booking your shoot. We then schedule your shoot by organizing a day and time that works best for you. We ask you to pay a retainer to secure your booking at this point.
The Shoot
We recommend you arrive a little earlier than your session time to get everything organized and go over any last-minute details on the shoot. We have a change room and makeup area at the studio where you can get ready. Outfit changes are unlimited and encouraged! Are you a bit nervous or feel like you aren't photogenic? We hear it all the time, and we will help you with your posing and expressions to show that you are more photogenic than you think.
Viewing Session
At the end of your shoot, we will arrange a Viewing and Ordering session at our studio, where we will go over the proofs from your shoot. We will help you narrow your choices to your absolute favourite images. You are welcome to select as many or as few as you would like. Beyond our standard touched-up digital photos, we also offer prints, canvases, albums, wall art and much more. We understand that everyone has different needs and wants, so we will help you get what you desire.
